How much does Scrambler Therapy Cost?

The initial block of 10 Scrambler Therapy sessions costs $5000 in total.

Booster sessions cost $500 per session. Typically 5 booster sessions are required.

How long do the treatment sessions last?

Scrambler Therapy consists of 10 sessions that occur Monday to Friday for two weeks with a break for the weekend. Each individual session lasts up to one hour. 

What are booster or maintenance treatments? How often are they required?

Booster/Maintenance treatments are available if the pain returns. Typically pain relief lasts for 3-12 months. The frequency of booster treatments varies from patient to patient.

Is Scrambler Therapy covered by Medicare or private health insurance in Australia?

At this time, as it is an emerging new therapy, Scrambler Therapy is not covered by Medicare, Private Health Insurance or Workcover. We have had some success with DVA funding.
